Fast charging is a relatively traditional concept. It generally refers to a charging method that can make the battery reach or close to a fully charged state in a short time. At present, there are two types of fast charging technologies for mobile phones: one is flash charging. Technology (OPPO’s VOOC flash charging technology), one is Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
Whether it is flash charging technology or Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 2.0 technology, its essence is to increase the voltage/current reaching the battery as much as possible under certain constraints. In the case of a certain battery capacity, according to the energy: W (battery capacity) = power P * time T = voltage U * battery I * time T, so increasing the voltage and current can greatly shorten the charging time. Therefore, in the process of charging, the heat generation is much larger than that of general charging, and the interface thermal conductive material (thermal conductive silicone sheet) to solve the heating problem can relatively reduce the pressure caused by the heat.
During the charging process, a part of the generated energy will become heat, and this part of the heat will be concentrated on the charging device and the body respectively. We can also clearly feel that the charger and the fuselage have different degrees of heating when charging.
Due to the small size of the charger head, only one-component insulating and thermally conductive silicone or thermally conductive silicone sheets can be used to conduct heat out. The heat dissipation of the body of the mobile phone is conducted by conducting the heat generated by the operation of the CPU or circuit board to the graphite sheet or the case through the thermal conductive silicone sheet.
